I’m so happy that my proposal for a new installation by the title of Seventy Shells has won the NDSM Open Call 2024. This very personal project connects the island where I was born, to the place where I have been working for over 10 years.
During a trip to Curaçao this summer, I made a first step in realizing this project and gathered a key ingredient: soil from the place where the story starts. In the coming months I’ll share the Seventy Shells story and its progress in this journal. Watch this space.
